KarenMills.net : Interior Design: Personalize with Style!

Ever feel lost with how to personalize your space? You’re not alone. And the good news is that its not necessarily because you lack design sense but probably because you have become too familiar with your surroundings and lost objectivity.

And that’s why most homeowners hire interior designers to look at their project with a fresh eye.

One of my favorite ways to personalize a space begins with discovering what design styles, colors and overall mood a client wants to evoke in the space.  With most clients, we  usually combine one or more design styles to create a look that’s all their own

For example a couple of my clients love Hollywood glam, especially in light neutral shades, so we created monochromatic spaces that could be injected with color later which is easier said than done.
