If you’re thinking of remodeling your bathroom or adding an addition, you might want to think about incorporating some of the latest trends in bathroom design.  Here are three hot bathroom design trends for 2013 that are still gaining popularity.

1. Spa Feel -  Creating a spa like feel to your bathroom is easy.  Just introduce some elements of luxury such as a stack of new thick thirsty white towels, scented candles or a rain shower head. Other great additions could include body jets, a heated floor or towel rack, steam shower or speaker system.

2. Natured inspired  -  Nature inspired looks could include pebbled tiles, watery blue walls or even a sandy white design scheme that’s simple, but stunning.  Other nature inspired looks might be the wavy design in a tile, the look of bamboo or a fireplace that adds a little ambiance to your space.

3.  Open streamlined look – As time goes on, you’ve probably noticed a trend toward more open bathrooms with less walls and more tile.  And I’m not just talking about tile on the floors and shower, but also tile on walls and ceilings.  Showers without walls,  more streamlined furniture, and simpler designs on the tile add up to a calmer more serene feel to your space.
