Not your average blues

It really is easy being "green" these days, when you have a wide assortment of options to choose from in the world of denim. So many brands out there are going beyond those basic blues and getting a little more spunk in their all-American duds. We're talking COLOR. Oranges, greens, pastels, neons, florals--even paisley--have stepped onto their very own soap box. It's time for fashion to speak its voice loud and proud!

Although the declaration of love for color is important, we can't forget the true investment: fit. The fit of your colorful denim should be snug, as it will most likely stretch with natural wear. I always tell my clients that finding a great pair of jeans is like scoring that ultimate swimsuit. It's hard, but it can be done!

Skip some of the trial-and-error with my brand recommendations:

Paige Denim

These jeans are great on the booty! They sculpt, and the denim stays true to form throughout the day. No tugging!

Sanctuary

These are slimming and tailored. There's no riff-raff about this brand, as they stay simple with no outlandish details.

AG

My favorite! I am petite and have an athletic build, so their skinnies work well for me. All athletes know that jeans + athletic thighs are a hard match to make. Well, found it!

MIH

It's like the modern-day Jordache to me. The perfect flair to elongate you and dress your ensembles up or down.

MOTHER

This is your brand if you want sleek and chic, and don't we all? This brand is raw but refined. I feel that you can get those classic-era trends without looking too cliche.
