If you have legs like a Goddess and enough daring to pull off a skin-tight fuchsia bodysuit and lime green platform heels, then you’re probably in the vast minority. Tiiu Kuik has the legs ( really has the legs) but probably doesn’t go about in this kind of outfit when she’s not in front of Max Abadian’s lens. That doesn’t matter though. When a new camera comes on the market, we’re all lights, camera, ACTION!

Be it the latest SLR, the newest iPhone App or a new way of shooting Lomo, we’re undoubtedly all on board. From candid catwalk snaps to luxurious editorials, photography fuels fashion.

Now that the novelties of Hipstamatic and Instragram are wearing off, and the vintage vinette of the Diana camera is getting (ironically) old, the industry is on the search for something new.

I can’t quite pinpoint exactly what it is about movies that I love so much, but the truth is I’m a little film obsessed. Perhaps its the sheer escapism of entering another world for a full hour or two; perhaps it’s the fascination with their influence on other parts of culture. Of the latter point, film and fashion are often inextricably linked. Trends on screen reflect trends in our wardrobes, and vice-versa.

Now, if you had told me yesterday that in the near future I’d be adding a Madonna-directed film to my must-see...
