Rebel. It's one of those hard-working words that's both a noun and a verb all at once. A rebel rebels against the norm, pushes the boundaries, and that's what FASHIONTREND magazine are encouraging - nay, imploring - emerging creative talents to do. It is, in fact, the reigning theme of the magazine's 24th issue. The issue's cover shoot is a particularly striking one. With a wickedly brave hair directive by Brad Ngata for L'Oreal Professional, along with perfectly matched slick cat eye makeup by the ever-wonderful Rae Morris, the overall beauty look is one that makes you sit up and take notice. Vass Arvantis' styling is laced with retro glamour and lawless cool but never once strays from being utterly polished; nor does Barnaby Wilshier's photography, a perfect contrast to the gritty backdrops.
